To provide support for Rail City Pipes and Drums, a musical group that works to foster and promote Scottish culture through performances and education in Blair, Cambria, Somerset, and Bedford counties and the surrounding area.

Rangers Becoming Rangers Scholarship Fund

To provide scholarship support to a Forest Hills School District graduating senior planning to attend an accredited post-secondary school to major in any field related to the preservation, protection, conservation, and/or management of parks, forests, open space, wildlife, natural or cultural resources, or the outdoor environment in general.

Ray and Nancy Rizzo Foundation Fund

To support local nonprofit organizations.

Ray DiBattista Charitable Fund

To support the Windber Public Library through an annual distribution of endowment income.

ReImagine Appalachia Fund

Reimagine Appalachia is a coalition of labor, policy experts and community leaders who are making sure that no matter what we look like or the size of our bank account, everyone who lives here can have a good job, is cared for, and can put down roots for the future. Congress is debating major funding packages that can create jobs, rebuild infrastructure, and address fires and floods caused by damage to our climate. We are demanding those plans prioritize us and our blueprint shows the way forward.

Rev. Robert G. Whisler Memorial Scholarship Fund

Ric Szelong Memorial Scholarship Fund

Richie Thomas Memorial Scholarship Fund

To provide scholarship support for graduating senior students from schools within the Greater Johnstown region who plan to enroll in post-secondary education and major in psychology or social work or a related major which would lead to a career in counseling (adults or children), addiction recovery, or other job related to preventing people from using drugs and helping those addicted to get sober.

To purchase Richland Township Police Department advanced license plate reader (ALPR) equipment.

Richland Ram Leadership Scholarship Fund

To provide scholarship support for graduating senior football players at Richland High School who have demonstrated leadership on and off the field in the spirit of the Rams.

Richland School District Foundation Fund

To support any endeavor that benefits the students, faculty, and programs of the Richland School District as determined by the Richland School District Foundation Committee.

Richland Township Volunteer Fire Company Live-In Program Scholarship Fund

To provide scholarship support for students that are accepted into the live-in firefighter program at Richland Township Volunteer Fire Company.

Rick and Trudy Barefoot Fund

To support any endeavor that enhances Chestnut Ridge High School students’ education.

Ridley Banks Memorial Fund to Benefit the Students of Ferndale Area School District

To provide opportunities for the students of the Ferndale Elementary School for educational exploration through activities (e.g. field trips) and from in school programs that exemplify not just education by rote, but by experience. (e.g. The giant globe from the Learning Lamp.) Also for the students of Ferndale High School for career development, possibly through field trips and other programs that provide educational opportunities.

Riggs Family Foundation Fund

The Riggs Family Foundation Fund supports a pre-identified list of Somerset County-based nonprofits. We’re not currently accepting outside requests at this time. However, organizations seeking funding are encouraged to apply for consideration by the Somerset County Community Fund as part of the Community Foundation’s Fall Grant Round. Riordan Memorial Scholarship Fund

To provide tuition assistance to an Indiana University of Pennsylvania student who exhibits leadership and displays respect and kindness towards others. Recipients must be involved in social activities, demonstrate athletic skills, and intend to continue their education.

Robert A. Allen Memorial Fund

To support unrestricted grantmaking as determined by the Foundation’s Distribution Committee, through the Fund for the Future.

Robert A. Funari Sr. Scholarship Fund

To provide a scholarship for a senior at Portage Area School District intending to pursue a degree in the medical profession.

Robert and Beverly Eyer Family Fund

A donor advised fund created as part of the 100 Families Project.

Robert B. and Frances C. Hornick Family Scholarship Fund

To provide a scholarship to a senior from a school in the Greater Johnstown area who intends to pursue a bachelor’s degree at any campus of the University of Pittsburgh in the fall after graduation. Financial need and proof of acceptance by a campus of the University of Pittsburgh are required. Eligible schools are Bishop McCort, Conemaugh Valley, Ferndale, Greater Johnstown, Richland, and Westmont.

Robert E. and Theodore R. Shahade Scholarship Fund

To provide a minimum of one annual scholarship award for a student to attend the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown campus.

Robert Lee Veney, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund

To provide an annual scholarship to an outstanding senior track athlete at Greater Johnstown School District

Robert Mishler Sr. and Doris Mishler Memorial Scholarship Fund

To award a $500.00 scholarship to a graduating senior of the Conemaugh Township Area School District pursuing post-secondary training in the health professions or a degree leading to the practice of medicine or nursing.

Robert T. Koveleskie Family Endowment Fund

A future-value endowment established to fund recreational, educational, and cultural activities in the Borough of Ebensburg, the Borough of West Newton, the Village of Augustaville and the City of Greensburg. It will also provide funding for the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and Franciscan University of Steubenville. It currently funds the Ann Buffoni Award at Central Cambria High School.

Robert Waters Economic Development Fund

To provide groups and organizations with support in conjunction with economic development.
